Synopsis:

Former college basketball player Symone (Michele Weaver) is a career-driven sports journalist, and this year she vows to finally take the anchor desk. With the nationally-televised Christmas Day basketball game taking place in town this year, the station’s hard-nosed boss tasks his reporters with finding a holiday-worthy interview big enough to take the game’s pre-show slot, and the winner will take the anchor desk on Christmas for the lead-in. This is Symone’s chance to get the job, but she gets increasingly irritated as her boss assigns all the best stories to her male counterparts. After begrudgingly getting stuck with handsome, free-spirited cameraman Iggy (Nathan Owens), Symone eventually softens to his spontaneous approach to life as he helps her stand up for herself. As Christmas approaches and they race to lock in the winning interview, Symone and Iggy realize they may have way more in common than just their love of sports.
