About the Movie:

After fleeing an arranged marriage orchestrated by her aunt (Suchitra Pillai) and uncle (Satyajit Sharma) as a young woman—leaving India and her lucrative inheritance behind—Meera (Sharmita Bhattacharya) has made a name for herself in the tech world running her own company. But when a costly problem causes her to lose an investment from tech mogul Silas Avery (Jonathan Bennett), marriage is exactly what she needs to fix the issue.

In order to collect her inheritance in India, Meera comes up with a plan to inform her family that she is, in fact, married. While at a 30 Under 30 party, Meera meets Rama (Andres Joseph), a handsome entrepreneur, who agrees to pretend to be her husband. Together, they head to India to prove to Meera’s family that their marriage is legitimate. As they keep up the ruse, Meera and Rama find themselves developing genuine chemistry—until Meera learns that Rama is the groom she abandoned a decade ago! Can their newfound connection outweigh their rocky past?
