SYNOPSIS:

Six years following her husband’s sudden death, Sara (Alicia Blasingame) drives her daughter, Ruby (Joesy De Palo), to college. While driving to campus, they stop at a gas station, where a mysterious man tampers with their car before Sara and Ruby return to it. Along the way, Sara’s car breaks down, and a woman named Allie (Holly Anspaugh) stops to offer them a ride into town. Sara sends Ruby with Allie to wait in the local diner while she stays to fix the car. When Sara finally arrives at the diner, she sees Allie but not Ruby. Sara becomes manic when she confronts Allie about Ruby’s whereabouts, but Allie pretends not to know Sara. As Sara demands that Allie explain where Ruby is, the local sheriff walks into the diner but doesn’t believe Sara’s story. Exasperated, Sara searches for Ruby on her own and meets Jane (Chelsea Rose Cook), who tells Sara that her own brother mysteriously disappeared in town years ago. The two work together to find Ruby, but could a secret derail Sara’s rescue effort?
