Synopsis: Parents to a teenage daughter Rhiannon (Eve Edwards), Jessica (Betsy Brandt) and Karl (Mark Taylor) are eager to welcome another child into their lives via adoption, but they’ve run into disappointment after disappointment for years. When they have the chance to adopt and eight-year-old girl with special needs, they decide that they’re ready to take the plunge, and welcome Gabby (Chloe Coco Chapman) into their home. But when Gabby reveals herself to be troubled and troubling, Jessica and Karl discover that things aren’t always what they seem, and there’s a fissure in their own family that suddenly becomes frighteningly present.
