Synopsis: Following a broken engagement, struggling chef Danielle (Hunter King) pins her hopes of saving her failing restaurant on an investment from wealthy foodie Owen Bridges (Davy Eduard King). However, Owens finds her cooking uninspired and declines. Facing the choice between fighting for her dream of letting the restaurant’s lease expire, Danielle receives a surprise gift from her ex: two tickets to Italy. Taking the cancelled honeymoon alone, she deliberates her restaurant’s fate. Danielle travels to a quaint town in the Italian countryside, where she meets Giancarlo (Michele Rosiello), a charming gelato chef fighting to make innovative flavors. Initially uneasy with the laid-back lifestyle, Danielle immerses herself in Italian culture after discovering an old diary by the mysterious E.O. in her quarters. Following the diary’s guidance, Danielle rediscovers her passion for food and life and falls for Giancarlo. As her departure date nears, Danielle realizes Owen’s rejection stemmed from her food’s lack of imperfection and love. Changing her approach to food, Danielle not only secures the investment from Owen and renews her restaurant’s lease but also convinces Giancarlo to join her in the States. In America, Danielle and Giancarlo revamp her restaurant with innovative gelato and a menu infused with love.
